The Mallory Suite in the historic 1865 House is a comfortable, privacy-friendly setup for families with older children or anyone who likes a little extra separation. With a queen bed in one room and a separate sleeping space featuring a twin over full bunk bed, the layout makes it easy to share the getaway without sharing every moment.
A shared Jack and Jill bathroom connects the spaces, keeping mornings and evenings convenient, and Roku-equipped TVs add an easy way to unwind after a full day out in downtown Mystic. It is a relaxed choice for guests who want the charm of a historic house with a practical suite-style arrangement.
Please note that due to the historic nature of the property, guestrooms are not handicap accessible or equipped, and elevator service is not available. The lobby, public restroom, and on-site restaurant are accessible by ramp and fully equipped to meet handicap requirements. Guests requiring first-floor rooms are invited to call directly for more information on availability. Only ADA-compliant service pets are permitted on the premises. "As far as I am concerned, there is no other place to stay in Mystic! Upon arrival, the beauty and the history of the Whaler’s Inn truly left us in awe! We were greeted by the kindest staff and we were even walked to our suite. We stayed in the Mallory suite of the 1865 house and Oh my gosh! This “room” was huge! The children had their own space that they were super excited about and the layout was perfect for our family of 4! This beautifully decorated suite was absolutely perfect and the grounds were just as amazing! We often found ourselves in the rockers on the patio just taking it all in!"
