The Whaler’s Inn was just a short 10’ walk from the train station and since we arrived early they took care of our bags so we could enjoy a delicious brunch at their restaurant, the Shipwright’s Daughter. Everything was just a walk away so we crossed the Mystic River Drawbridge and visited the Mystic Museum of Art. We received a text from the Whaler’s Inn when our room was ready and they had already brought our bags up to our room. Our train the next morning was 2 hours after check out so they graciously accommodated us with a late checkout, thank you!
